    <description>What type of subsystem is this in ? I had this occur (multiple dirves) on a FC30, I think it turned out to be the FC adapters in my K box..It can indicate a pending failure of the disk.&lt;BR /&gt;Tommy</description>

      <title>syslog error message decipher</title>

      <description>The following error message is in my syslog and I believe it pertains to a certain disk.  However I don't know how to cross-reference it to a physical disk like /dev/dsk/c12t3d0.  Here is the error message:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;vmunix: LVM: vg[3]: pvnum=12 (dev_t=0x1c023000) is POWERFAILED</description>
