    <description>When the system reboots you have 10 seconds to stop the sequence by typing on any key.&lt;BR /&gt;You will then be on manual boot =&amp;gt;&lt;BR /&gt;boot pri &lt;BR /&gt;It will ask : interact with IPL &amp;gt; yes&lt;BR /&gt;isl &amp;gt; hpux -is&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope it helps&lt;BR /&gt;Victor</description>

      <description>Another way to go to single user....and avoid boot interupting process.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Logged in as root&lt;BR /&gt;#shutdown 0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This will take you down to single user, without the boot.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When all done...you can either use:&lt;BR /&gt; shutdown -ry 0 or&lt;BR /&gt; reboot  or &lt;BR /&gt; init 3  (for me all users normal is init3; your shop may be 4...)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,</description>

      <description>Hi simon,&lt;BR /&gt; U follow these steps.&lt;BR /&gt;STEP 1) While system boots in the intial Press  &lt;ESC&gt; Key and hold until U find an Prompt Bootadmin&amp;gt; Or ISL&amp;gt;. Once U find this go for step 2)&lt;BR /&gt;STEP 2) Type the following Command&lt;BR /&gt;  &lt;BR /&gt;   BOOTADMIN&amp;gt; Boot &lt;SCSI address=""&gt; isl (This brings u in ISL&amp;gt; Prompt&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   ISL&amp;gt;hpux -is boot  (This will boot in single User mode).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  I hope this will do.&lt;BR /&gt;Best of luck&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SCSI&gt;&lt;/ESC&gt;</description>
