      <title>Ejecting DDS tapes</title>

      <description>Can anyone tell me what command I can use to eject a DDS3/4 tape?  I want to add this to the end of our backup script so the tape ejects when the backup is complete.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks.&lt;BR /&gt;Todd</description>

      <description>If your tape device file is /dev/rmt/0m:&lt;BR /&gt;mt offl&lt;BR /&gt;othervise:&lt;BR /&gt;mt -f /dev/rmt/&lt;DEV-FILE&gt; offl &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You will not get the prompt back until the IO is compleated and that will take some sec's.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Trond&lt;/DEV-FILE&gt;</description>
