      <description>It appears to be an HP engineer tool - not for normal public use. Only an engineer has access to the current HP-only support license. Even if you logged a call with the RC I doubt they would give you the current HP-only support license over the phone.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Answer n to the prompt.  There is an internal HP tool that we send out that does not require a license. See if there is more than one tapeinfo command on your system.  More than likely you are calling one that does require a license.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;See if this helps:&lt;BR /&gt;# swlist -l file |grep tapeinfo&lt;BR /&gt;# whence tapeinfo&lt;BR /&gt;# whereis tapeinfo</description>

      <description>Maybe I was not clear on my original post.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There is more than one tapeinfo command.  &lt;BR /&gt;*  The STM version does require a license.  Should you need to install this license, contact Contracts to see if it is part of your support agreement;  HW Support can assist in installing it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;*The HP internal tool does not require a license.  This is a tool that may have been sent out by a HP Support person upon request.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
