What is the domain name of the windows network?

workgroup = delphi_e

If its not delphi_e that could be it right there.

Its a good idea for samba to have the Primary Domain Controller(PDC) have an account for the HP-UX machine. That helps it be found in network neighborhood.

This however is a start toward problem diagnosis.

SEP

Hi Muthu,

make sure you have the access to the port (901 used by swat) in the firewall if your windows network is behind the firewall.

Arockia.

Glad your problem is solved.

Two requests:

1) Tell me what you did. Its like a mystery novel and we don't know who did it.
2) Consider point assignment. We like you but we like points too.

SEP
