Backup are correctly made, but every Full leave a problem: for every user it is impossible to login the message is "NO SHELL"; NFS file systems are correctly exported..."just" login, telnet, rsh... don't work. The reason was that our backup people had installed (and started) Veritas Netbackup without checking the patch level before...<BR /><BR />The notes I found about it say that HP and Veritas suggested the patches PHKL_16751 and PHKL_20356 to be installed. These are for sure superseeded by newer patches by now, so you better check yourself.<BR />In general you should have the latest vxfs patches and query for patches related to veritas netbackup.<BR /><BR />I remember that one of the dependency patches (PHSS_19739) made it necessary to relink oracle.
