    <description>It's ok if you want to overwrite the files and directories stored in system A, with the -i option you indicate to restore just the /dbase file or directory.</description>

      <description>I have two systems A (fbackup) and  B (DDS)&lt;BR /&gt;The system A don??t have DDS, We do remote fbackup. Now I??m needing recover a filesystem in the system A&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In system A &lt;BR /&gt;I do &lt;BR /&gt;frecover -xvf B:/dev/rmt/0hc -i /dbase&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is Ok this?&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks</description>

      <description>Hey Castro,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the command itself is fine, but you need to make sure that server B allows server A access to do this.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Easiest way is to add the line&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;A&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;to /.rhosts, however that poses a security risk as it opens server B to remote shells and execution (remsh, rexec) as well as rlogins from server A.  If thats not a problem its the easiest way.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To test it login to server A, run rexec to execute 'date' or create a dummy file in /tmp on server B.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;hope that helps,&lt;BR /&gt;Kevin.</description>

      <description>Hi again,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;just looked at it again, the options I used to use for frecover were&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-oX -x&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;found it worked better than just -xvf, but if yours works then cool!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Kevin.</description>
