Is there any flag alert in HP-UX? If yes where can i find the logs?

i not quite familiar also with that i just want to verify is there is something like this in HP-UX. I think its also something like an error code. ex flag 1 media error

MMmmhhh

If you refer to log for system erros, then you have

/var/adm/syslog/syslog.log

that is the main source for information.

If you are looking for a corrrespondence between error number and meaning, have a look at

"man errno" and the file /usr/conf/h/errno.h

Otherwise i haven't still understand you query, sorry :)
