Oh yes, my mistake ... copied the swlist output of the jetdirect depot.

Is EMS the same as STM. For the online diagnostics depot that I downloaded, I get two filesets EMS-Core and EMS-Config, with revision A.04.00.01.

By the way, when I have a product, is there a simple way to find out its version. Like, I mean there are different ways of writing the version ... no common standard. Like by looking at the revision E 10.34 u were able to judge that its jetDirect

And also for my product, how can I know all patches related to it (product and version specific).

I know for HP OpenView products its quite simple.

neway for now I upgrade to this version, right? and the patch doesn't seem to be critical.

Thanks a lot Tim

-Alvi

Hi,

I searched the forums for this question, andgot many hits. But the solution given does not work for me.

cclogd utilization is 90% +.

It is a known problem with Online diagnostics.

The patch PHSS_24045 is a fix for this problem on HP-UX 11.11

swagent says that it does not find a previously installed base fileset

I have the following Online Diagnostics

B.11.11.00.04 HPUX 11.11 Support Tools Bundle.

Attached is the swagent.log

Thanks and Regards,

-Alvi
Try stopping and restarting Online Diagnostics.

If the problem persists, then upgrade to a more recent version of Online Diagnostics and apply the STM patch (if one exists). Yo are running an old version of Online Diagnostics A.28.00.

Tim

What version of STM are you running.

Just do a
#cstm
check the version.

The patch is for version A.25.00

Revert

Thanks for the responses.

OK, so as a first step i'll install the latest online diagnostics ... it says revision E.10.34.

Does this one also have a patch for the cclogd memory leakage problem, or should the problem have been resolved by the revision itself.

-Alvi

Got to agree with the previous post. You are definitely running A.28.00 yet the patch you installed is for A.25.00.

You need to install PHSS_26268 for your version.

But again you are running an old version. I would upgrade.

You mention E.10.34. That is not an Online Diagnostics version that I am aware of. Sounds like Jetdirect to me.

Mar03 - A.38.00 B.11.11.10.xx & PHSS_29343
Jun03 - A.41.00 B.11.11.11.xx & PHSS_29344

They are the latest versions.

Tim.
