Hello,

How do I determine size of RAM installed on HPUX system? I tried vmstat, but the results do not make sense.

Try:

/usr/contrib/Q4/bin/kmeminfo.

Returns lots of good information.

echo phys_mem_pages/D | adb64 /stand/vmunix /dev/mem

The result is in memory pages - multiply by 4096 for value in Bytes.

you can also use

#cat /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log|grep Phy
