topic make_recovery warning in Operating System - HP-UX

Hi,

I have tried to make an Ignite tape on a D320 running HPUX 11.00 before changing a defect root harddisk (mirrored). I have started with
#make_recovery -Av
(make_tape_recovery is not installed) and it returns following warnings:
WARNING: Unable to parse Service Guard query command (/usr/sbin/cmquerycl -n $(hostname) -l lvm -v 2> /dev/null | /usr/bin/awk '{print $1' )
WARNING: Service Guard was detected by the presence of the "/usr/sbin/cmquerycl" command. However "/usr/sbin/cmquerycl" failed to return the required volume group information. A second attempt will be made using vgdisplay(1M)

and these are repeating until I hit Ctrl-C. What I don't understand is that I don't have MC/SG on this machine - it's used as a mediation device between a System+Database 2 L-class Servers System (which indeed runs MC/SG/HPUX11.00) and another Sun Solaris machine which takes some ASCII files from the Mediation Device.
On this machine there are some NFS imported filesystems which are exported by the MC/SG from the Servers System.

Any idea

Hi,
i think that someone left a cmquerycl on that server for some reason.

Try to rename it and re-run the make_recovery
If it is not a cluster, it is not needed.

Massimo
