    <description>please run this command and post results.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;swapinfo -tam&lt;BR /&gt;kmtune&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Swap in general should total 1.0 to 2.0 times physical memory until you get to the really HUGE machines.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You are clearly overloading your kernel settings.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;sam&lt;BR /&gt;Kernel&lt;BR /&gt;configurable parameters.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Make increses to the items mentioned earlier.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Actions&lt;BR /&gt;Process new kernel&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;answer the questions yes.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If its your first time, we'll start a congrats thread.  (bad joke).  Seriously, the doc is good and the prior advice is good. You should point these guys and follow their advice.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>Filo,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you look in the doc I linked to your question&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In some cases, increasing maxuprc, nproc, and the amount of swap on the remote&lt;BR /&gt;system may help.  You need to eliminate these errors before investigating the&lt;BR /&gt;PAM error messages.  In most cases, these errors might have existed prior to&lt;BR /&gt;installing the r-commands patch.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Robert-Jan.</description>
