Has anyone had any experience with Citrix MetaFrame?
How easy was it to install?
Did it install as part of the operating system or as an application?
A penny (I mean point for your thoughts)!

If you have some experience with NT you should have no problem.

Installing the ICA clients on HP-UX is no big issue - the only thing about it is that it needs local (per user) configuration unless you do some hacks (no problem for a *nix* admin :-)

With some NT experience installing the Metaframe Server is no big deal.

The Client was configured once an then copied to the other workstationsw via tarball.

Metaframe runs fine with noch problems on the HP-UX Workstations. The performance is ok (depends on your network an the Serverhardware) and administration is also pretty easy.

Install enough memory in your Metaframe Server.
