topic Emacs in Operating System - HP-UX

Emacs

I have a problem
# emacs
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Can't open shared library: /usr/local/lib/libncurses.sl
/usr/lib/dld.sl: No such file or directory
Abort(coredump)

Can everyone help me !
I searched for the libncurses.sl but i didn??t find that file !

Lets not forget the easy way to get emacs installed as well.

The depot has a number of dependencies, all of which are displayed right on that page in the new , colorful format(anybody know where the volume control is on that page?).

You have to load all the dependencies

Xaw3d gettext jpeg libiconv libpng libungif ncurses tiff xpm zlib

you can get all these on the same site.

I??m unable to install ncurses correctly !

Amalysiserror with SHlib ?

What is the error this time. Can you cut and paste the log. If you dont have the GUI opened it is found in /var/adm/sw/swagent.log.
