https://community.hpe.com/t5/operating-system-hp-ux/ux-upgrade/m-p/3075584#M141571 sI have just done an upgrade from 10.20 to 11i<BR />I am having problems getting all my user login.<BR />We had 2 formats - one is 4chara of surname and 2 numbers i.e krig01 as the user login detail and other is without the number i.e <BR />jamesj <BR />I append the exisitg 11i passwd and group files (Cut pasted from passwd and group of 10.20)and also copied the /tcb from 10.20 to 11i ( Trusted system)<BR />But when I go in SAM I only see logins such as krig01 not the logins which are only characters i.e jamesj<BR />The strange thing is that if I create a new user then it gets created but I cannot see the details in SAM but after I created a user, a user can login but the new user details are not displayed in SAM<BR />Your comments please.........
