      <description>hi GK,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i would agree with Steve about what sort of activities. the data center activities would be usually routine stuff which u keep on doing day after day( we do:) ). here we check for the environment parameters( AC, temp, humidity etc), then a system check of all the servers and then start with the business operations. after the business hours we start the backup which keeps on running the whole night. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;u can get a lot of resources if u would google around. one of the sites which u might find useful for sys admin activities is the SAGE Guild &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.usenix.org/sage" target="_blank"&gt;www.usenix.org/sage&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;aparna</description>
