The number of HP-UX user licenses purchased is 64.

Does this mean I can only have 64 sessions going at one time?
or
only 64 sessions of individual user ID's currently in use?

My users each log in several times and I was just wondering.

user licenses are counted by device.
console = 1 lic/one user
lan (telnet) = 1 lic/many user
mux = 1 lic/one user per port
terminal server = 1 lic/one user per port

No, serial connections count once (like the console) and LAN connections count once! See the thread, below. If the users are connecting from the LAN, or via ORACLE, etc. then you are more than covered.

64 concurrent sessions. This could be a user logged in 5 times, this is 5 logins against the 64 license.

This would apply if the users are entering through (example) a mux.

If coming through the LAN, this constraint does not apply. See other posts in regards to this question.
