    <description>On reboot, an entry in /etc/inittab for an 11.0 server failed to start..    I'm not sure why&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;tsm::once:/usr/bin/dsmc sched &amp;gt; /dev/null 2&amp;gt;&amp;amp;1   &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Does anyone know what I missed in this ?    Thank you :)</description>

      <description>It isn't in the inittab file that the problem is occuring but unfortunately you've sent any error messages to /dev/null so you can't read them.  You might need to lose the &amp;gt; /dev/null 2&amp;gt;&amp;amp;1 to debug this properly.</description>

      <description>Hi Brent,&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;Appears to me you've left out the run-state level (0-6) that tells the system at what run-level to run the command. This is the second field. Most frequently used are 2 &amp;amp; 3, but if you need this at run-level 1, then use 1.&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;Rgds,&lt;BR /&gt;Jeff</description>
