HI All,

I have installed the HP's IPfilter on 11i. This is my DNS server. I like to open some tcp/udp ports, rest will be closed.
Whatever, for test, when I put a rule that only deny all icmp packet in /etc/opt/ipf/ipf.conf file, it deny all other packets too, like dns querries, telnet, ssh, ftp.

Why it is happening?
Thanks a lot,

Richard
