SAM - Routine tasks

I wanted to monitor some of my application logs through sam. It has
this nifty all-in-one place to go for logs in the routine tasks area.
So I added my application log to the list but it did not show up in the GUI.
There are no filters, sorts or anything like that on.
I know SAM accepted it because if I try to add it again it says the file is
already in the list.
How do I add the to the list that is actually displayed - or is this not something
that SAM is capable of?

When I add a new log to the list it shows up immediately. Check for an up to date SAM cumulative patch.
