Is the section I'm looking for "Mirroring Data Using LVM "??

I was looking for something specifically to deal with Mirror/UX. Are these one in the same?

I know it's installed (It was in the output of swlist at least)

Thanks for your quick responses

DK

Hi all,

I am a newbie (really a DBA being forced to administer a system as well).

For the life of me, I cannot find any docs on Mirror-UX (setup, admin etc). I have checked all over www.docs.hp.com with no luck.

Can someone point me to a URL, or tell me which disk in the disk set I should be able to find it on.

Thanks a bunch.

DK

Hi:

The manual you want is the System Administration Tasks manual. Here is a link to the online version:

http://docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/B2355-90672/B2355-90672.html

...JRF...

Here's a url on hp docs that may help.

http://docs.hp.com:80/dynaweb/hpux10/hpuxen0a/b2043/@Generic__BookView?DwebQuery=JFS

I believe Mirror-UX software would have to have been loaded on your box.
To check and see if you are set up for Mirror-UX you might enter: swlist | more

Regards
