    <description>Approx 1 hour after starting the diagmond process it aborts with the following message in the syslog:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Exit due to initialization failure.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Whilst the diagmond process is running I am unable to run the xstm process fully.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This has started happening after the root mirror disk was replaced.</description>

      <description>&lt;BR /&gt;Sounds like the diags are having problem with the database/log they keep of hardware, which yours has now changed. Deinstall the diags and reinstall. On first starup after reinstall it should reinitialise everything and run aok for longer than 1 hour.</description>

      <description>&lt;BR /&gt;What do you mean by the diag lif area ??&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When you replaced the mirror disk all the correct steps were carried out as per your sys admin manual ?? including testing you can boot off it successfully ?</description>
