      <description>Our developers have some library in Windows which they include in their C code which measures clock ticks.  Is there something similar in HP-UX?</description>

      <description>Hi Carlo,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Not with a CPU tick accuracy but with a microsecond resolution, you have the&lt;BR /&gt;clock system call.&lt;BR /&gt;The problem is that it is storing its data in a long integer and therefore wraps every 4295 seconds (approx 72 minutes)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;See man 3C clock&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Dan&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
