Our developers have some library in Windows which they include in their C code which measures clock ticks. Is there something similar in HP-UX?

You could try use the pstat series of calls (pstat_getprocessor(2).

Hi Carlo,

Not with a CPU tick accuracy but with a microsecond resolution, you have the
clock system call.
The problem is that it is storing its data in a long integer and therefore wraps every 4295 seconds (approx 72 minutes)
