    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As stated above - it's not a good idea for security reasons.  There is no supported way of doing it.  You could leave the account with no password and have pretty much the same level of security!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Darren.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;That's a security feature of HP-UX.  You can't shift the letters of the logonid round to create a password.  Here's an example:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;LogonID:  darrenp&lt;BR /&gt;Circular shifted passwords that cannot be used: arrenpd, rrenpda, renpdar&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can't reverse the LogonID either: pnerrad&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check man passwd for further info.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Darren.</description>

      <description>Does your password has same letters of user id in random order, then you might get this error, try using different passwords&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-USA..</description>

      <description>Making the password = userID is no security at all. It may be convenient, but very, very easy to guess. And if this is the default password for new users, many of your users may not ever change their password and everyone can guess what it might be. You will have to use a different password that is not related to the user login.</description>
