    <description>The closest thing I can think of, which I don't think provides all that you are asking for, though might be enough, is to use "pvchange -t" to change the i/o timeout value.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;pvchange -t &lt;NEW value="" in="" seconds=""&gt; &lt;PV_PATH in="" block="" device="" file=""&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;default is 120 seconds, you could change it to 180.&lt;BR /&gt;Anyway most of the times messages about SCSI resets,timeouts or power failed indicate hw problems.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I hope this helps you.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Best regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Ettore&lt;/PV_PATH&gt;&lt;/NEW&gt;</description>
