      <description>Hi All,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How can I mirror the root vg on rx5670 server. It has little bit different procedure than PA-RISC servers. What I can't understand &lt;BR /&gt;the first step:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# vi /tmp/partitionfile&lt;BR /&gt;2&lt;BR /&gt;EFI 100MB &lt;BR /&gt;HPUX 100%&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What are these 3 entries?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks all of you,&lt;BR /&gt;Richard&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Richard,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;lines of the partitionfile:&lt;BR /&gt;# of partitions to create&lt;BR /&gt;TYPE_of_partition SIZE_IN_MB&lt;BR /&gt;TYPE_of_partition PERCENTAGE_OF_REMAINING_MBs&lt;BR /&gt;....&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;e.g. could look like&lt;BR /&gt;8&lt;BR /&gt;EFI 500MB&lt;BR /&gt;HPUX 1024MB&lt;BR /&gt;HPUX 1024MB&lt;BR /&gt;HPUX 1024MB&lt;BR /&gt;HPUX 1024MB&lt;BR /&gt;HPUX 1024MB&lt;BR /&gt;HPUX 1024MB&lt;BR /&gt;HPUX 1024MB&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;would create slices 2 to 8 each 1GB in size and after running idisk and insf the command&lt;BR /&gt;diskinfo /dev/rdsk/cXtYd0s5 would tell you  that it is a disk of 1024MB in size.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Bernhard</description>

      <description>Richard,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;also with 11.23 the boot disk usually has a third "service" partition: &lt;BR /&gt;3&lt;BR /&gt;EFI 500MB&lt;BR /&gt;HPUX 100%&lt;BR /&gt;HPSP 400MB&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;check current boot disk and run diskinfo on the slices to align the partitioning of the mirrror disk.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Bernhard</description>
