Hi,

One possible cause of the error messages is files being changed while they are being backed up.

Regards.

Steven Sim.

Craig,

Regarding error fbackup messages
" fbackup(1005): run time: 2197 seconds
fbackup(1030): warnings encountered
during backup: 4 "

"fbackup exit code 4" it's not error level but it's just only warnning level may be fbackup will tied to archive some file that it was during opening(OS log file ,file was uesd by running process and etc) fbackup will tried 2-3 times after that fbackup will archive file that last updated status. If these file aren't appilcation datafile such as DB datafile. It's OK when restoration.
For my experience I did full files system backup include oracle datafile(after stopped database) fbackup generated the message like above(same file was openned by OS) but I can restored on another machine.

Regards,
P.Worapoj
