      <description>are you sure you have 100BT installed ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;check with&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ioscan -fnClan&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and see if you have any btlan6 hardware...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Maybe some other interface is skipped...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  Massimo&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The initialization could fail if the cable is disconnected/bad or if the link partner (switch/hub port) is down or defective.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You should use the linkloop command to test these other components. &lt;BR /&gt;Also it's possible that the NIC itself has failed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rgds,&lt;BR /&gt;Jeff</description>

      <description>OK, &lt;BR /&gt;now it's clearer.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You have no SPP 100BT lan (no btlan6) in your environtment, S333 is skipped and this is right.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;S340 fails... follow other suggestion:&lt;BR /&gt;- is cable connected ? Check both lanconsole and network interface...&lt;BR /&gt;- is the other end in auto-negotiation or not ?&lt;BR /&gt;- is there any UNCLAIMED in your "ioscan" ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   Massimo</description>

      <description>ifconfig lan0&lt;BR /&gt;ewerythig seens OK&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The machine can ping and is pingable, but the services doesn't are going(in sam are this enable).--&amp;gt; I thinked that this FAI at the boot makes that problems(the boot process is to slow, but at the end the X doesn't runs/I will check that after this net issue/&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ping 10.0.1.188  OK&lt;BR /&gt;arp -a| grep 10.0.1.188 --&amp;gt; I am waited more then 1 minute, at the end nothing  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;arp -a | grep 10.0.1.189 (of my machine)&lt;BR /&gt;nothing&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi Bakos,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;what does /etc/rc.config.d/netconf contain about IP_ADDRESS(ES) config and ROUTE config? Does it look for right configuration?&lt;BR /&gt;If anything is wronged there (just a bad character or missing character) LAN config could fail at boot up.&lt;BR /&gt;Could you attach your netconf file?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If netconf is good then you could insert &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;sleep 30&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;in the first line of /sbin/init.d/net file and re-try&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/init.d/net stop&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/init.d/net start&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Of course it has to be executed on system console.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Just a thought...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Best regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Ettore</description>
