      <description>In servers its a scsi cd-rom&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In workstations its ide.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I know of no exceptions to the server rule.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There may be exceptions to the workstation rule.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It is possible to install a scsi cd in a workstation so long as the proper scsi card is also installed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>Normally they are single ended SCSI. The K series as well as the D's, R's all have internal SE interfaces to drive them. The L servers (RP) also have single ended but in those devices they are normally DVD ROM's&lt;BR /&gt;hope this helps&lt;BR /&gt;malvin</description>
