Good Morning My This is Mario Gonzalez from Grupo Costamex or Royal Holiday company in Mexico city.

We have a contract of technical support with HP, but in the moment that I was registering in your system, your database cannot find my contract.

Server Type: RP5470
Model: 9000/800/11500-7x
Operating System HP/UX B.11.11

The problem is that We have an application running in that server, but often We have users that have the restriction to open only one session, but the users commonly try to open a second session, obviously we have a script that haves the restriction to allow to have only one session open, but if the users tries to enter a second time the session gets blocked, and for this reason we need to make a script, that kill the old session when the users enter a new session.

Could you tell how or show me that script

Regards

Mario González Fuentes.

Thanks very much

-Edited to remove contract information.
And why not you consider disabling your original script from blocking the users to login multiple times??. It doesn't make sense to restrict through one script and allow using another.

Best way is to educate the users not to login multiple times.

-Karthik S S

Hi Mario,

I somewhat think it is not a good idea, to kill the old session, if the user opens a new one. He might by accident kill a good running session. What do you mean blocked? Does the telnet session exit and processes keep running or does it not exit at all?

greetings,

Michael
