      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;First verify the dump device with &lt;BR /&gt;lvlnboot -v&lt;BR /&gt;Then IF it shows lvol1 as dump then verify that lvol2 (usually swap) IS in fact defined as the swap device &amp;amp; run&lt;BR /&gt;lvlnboot -d /dev/vg00/lvol2&lt;BR /&gt;Again verify that &lt;BR /&gt;lvlnboot -v &lt;BR /&gt;shows lvol2 as swap AND dump now.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The lvlnboot commands actaully affect the *next* boot - not your current settings.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rgds,&lt;BR /&gt;Jeff&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
