Hello

I have a D class server running 10.20 in solaris I am able to prevent root login except from console enforcing su to root how can i achieve this in hpux ?

Simply add the word 'console' to the /etc/securetty file (without the quotes)
Also make the permissions 400

It's much simpler in HP UX.
create a file /etc/secuetty and write console in this
