      <description>Hi all:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have an error in the /var/dt/Xerror log.&lt;BR /&gt;HP-UX 11.00&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;---&lt;BR /&gt;Fatal server error:&lt;BR /&gt;Out of memory &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;error: Server for display terminated unexpecctedly.&lt;BR /&gt;---&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What happen is the CDE terminate and bring you back the CDE login screen.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any suggestions?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;steven</description>

      <description>The latest Xserver patch is a good idea if not installed. It might not be related to the Xserver, as it could be the Xserver just needed a small amount of memory and couldn't get any.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It would also be worth monitoring your swap space usage (swapinfo -tm) just to be sure.</description>

      <description>It may also be worth going into SAM : =&amp;gt;DISPLAY =&amp;gt; Xserver Config =&amp;gt; modify server options and increasing GRMD and the other X memory related parameters eg shared mem transport size.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Incidentally were you running any particular application at the time of the hang ? I'm thinking along the lines of CAD,OpenGl, or Java ?</description>
