      <title>9000/C110 boot problem</title>

      <description>Ran fsck on the root volume and now it won't reboot. It gets stuck on system &lt;BR /&gt;check screen but does not perform any checks (black screen with yellow bars at &lt;BR /&gt;bottom).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I can't reach the Boot Console Interface using escape.  Any suggestions on how &lt;BR /&gt;to access the interface so I can boot of the cd-rom and re-install software?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Monitor is a A4331A if it matters.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks</description>

      <description>Have you been able to correct this boot problem?  I am in exactly the same &lt;BR /&gt;situation.  I have disconnected the scsi disks in order to force a boot &lt;BR /&gt;failure.  This did not help.</description>

      <description>Exactly how far along in the boot process are you both getting, and what error codes are you getting?</description>

      <description>If you cannot boot to ISL, then it is very likely that you have a CPU problem. Have the HP engineer check out and diagnose the problem for you.</description>
