Hi Ramesh,

Mine is empty too, so I guess that's ok. One other thing to check there is the 'Server Resource Database' available from the same menu. If you click on view, there is a help button, click on that for some help. Enclosed is my xrdb file.

Do you get this from other workstations, or just from that one?

Cheers,

Myles

Hi Ramesh,

There is a file in your home directory called .Xdefaults. Check this file, does it say anything crazy? Check the man page for X, it says what this should contain.

Can you replicate this problem on another workstation? Is your X server running on your server?

Cheers,

Myles

Hi Ramesh,

If this problem occurs when trying to connect to the server==> Then Xserver probably isn't running, or Reflection X has problems. If it is happening when you try to log in with an individual user then probably the $HOME/.Xdefaults file is corrupt or has the wrong permissions/owner. If you delete it or move it, it should be re-created with a default setup when you log in.

Good Luck,

Myles
