How do I do a chmod to make this file...

-rwsr-xr-x 1 oracle dba 2404264 Oct 7 13:07 dbsnmp

look like this...

-rwsr-s--- 1 oracle dba 2409408 Apr 7 2003 dbsnmp

chmod g+s should do it.

You need to set both the setuid (4000) and set uid (2000) or (6000 octal for both) bits in addition to the low-order 750 bits.

chmod 6750 dbsnmp
