Hi! me again :-)
following with the HP-UX Vulnerabilities, i need to disable in my /etc/sendmail.cf file EXPN and VRFY with that flags: noexpn and novrfy, when i try send messages using sendmail i get sintax error

gtportal: / > /usr/sbin/sendmail
/etc/mail/sendmail.cf: line 821: unknown configuration line "noexpn"
/etc/mail/sendmail.cf: line 824: unknown configuration line "novrfy"
/etc/mail/sendmail.cf: line 1702: unknown configuration line "'Opnoexpn'"
/etc/mail/sendmail.cf: line 1703: unknown configuration line "'Opnovrfy'"

You should have a line like this?

O PrivacyOptions=noexpn,novrfy,Opnoepn,Opnovrfy

Looks like you simply took the comments out from the explanation section.

If you have customizations such as the access list to block spam off your servers, you might try this methology.

cd /etc/mail
makemap -r -v hash access.db < access
makemap -r -v hash domaintable.db < domaintable
makemap -r -v hash genericstable.db < genericstable
makemap -r -v hash mailertable.db < mailertable
makemap -r -v hash virtusertable.db < virtusertable
cp /etc/sendmail.cf /root
m4 /etc/mail/sendmail.mc > /etc/sendmail.cf

The following directive in the m4 file will turn on the same functionality and allow you to generate customization without manual changes to sendmail.cf every time you add spammers to your list.

define(`confPRIVACY_FLAGS', `authwarnings,novrfy,noexpn,restrictqrun')dnl

Some modification of the m4 directive is necessary for HP-UX, I'm working on that.
