      <description>All&lt;BR /&gt;I am doing a make_tape_recovery and I am getting the following.  Any solutions ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;make_medialif: error - /opt/ignite/data/Rel_B.11.00/SYSCMDS does not exist, is not a regular file or is not read&lt;BR /&gt;able&lt;BR /&gt;ERROR:   System Error, /opt/ignite/bin/make_medialif failed creating boot LIF file.&lt;BR /&gt;ERROR:   Failed to generate LIF on tape .&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi Richard,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sounds like you have an Ignite problem.&lt;BR /&gt;Verify that it installed properly &amp;amp; that you have the proper version for the proper OS.&lt;BR /&gt;Are you running 11.0 or 11.11?&lt;BR /&gt;Does that file exist?&lt;BR /&gt;IS it 444 bin:bin?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH,&lt;BR /&gt;Jeff</description>

      <description>I would download, or redownload, Ignite/UX from:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://software.hp.com/products/IUX/download.html" target="_blank"&gt;http://software.hp.com/products/IUX/download.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I would then swremove the version of Ignite you currently have installed and then (re)swinstall the version you just downloaded.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It sounds like Ignite did not get installed completely the first time.</description>

      <description>OK - verify that it is indeed installed..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;swlist | grep -i ignite&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Then the installed state...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;swlist -l fileset -a state Ignite-UX-11-00&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If anything is NOT listed configured then either attempt swconfig on the product or reinstall forcing the overwrite options.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rgds,&lt;BR /&gt;Jeff</description>
