      <description>You can monitoring the nfile with sar -v 1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Exemple:&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;HP-UX sbd3 B.11.11 U 9000/800    03/03/04&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;14:30:09 text-sz  ov  proc-sz  ov  inod-sz  ov  file-sz  ov&lt;BR /&gt;14:30:10   N/A   N/A 466/2300  0  3096/4000  0  10484/32778 0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Here, i have 10484 files open for a maximum of 32778&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Serge</description>
