      <description>Hi Guys,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am getting vmunix messages in syslog. The message is&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Dec  9 17:01:14 oscar vmunix: vx_multi_bufinval3: bcount 0x800  blkno 0x6f8b2&lt;BR /&gt;  flags 0x20808a  nblks 0x1  ibsize 0x400^M&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What is the meaning of this message?       <description>Judging by the text (vm_multi_bufinval3) I would guess that the message has something to do with one of your vxfs file systems.  I searched the ITRC Technical Knowledge Base and came up empty.  Are you using JFS3.3?  Could it be a message from that?  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you have a software support contract I would be tempted to call it in.  If it's nothing, oh well.  If it is something to worry about, then you'll know.</description>

      <description>Hi Sandeep,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It looked to me like the error had something to do with an Index or table.  So I looked around and came up with this document.
