      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I seen in a previous post someone had the same question, but no real answer came out of it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Does anyone know where the "resyncd" comes from?&lt;BR /&gt;- No manual Page&lt;BR /&gt;- No hit in Google&lt;BR /&gt;- No result of the find command&lt;BR /&gt;- No previous answers in this forum&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It looks like :&lt;BR /&gt;    root  8603     0  0  Mar  3  ?         0:00 resyncd&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Anyone an idea?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regs David</description>

      <description>I suspect your system is in a SG cluster and the daemon may have something to do with shared disk managment (SLVM) and the specialized activation modes for Volume Groups. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;good luck,&lt;BR /&gt;fwc</description>

      <description>Karthik,&lt;BR /&gt;OK - guess I was wrong on that one.  Did you mean that your system has serviceguard loaded but it is not part of cluster currently?  Hmmmm....Wonder if /dev/slvmvg  exist on your system?  Or any of the other systems  with the daemons running.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;fwc&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
