I AM NOT ABLE TO DO FTP TO UX SERVER FROM MY
NODE.
IT'S WORKING BY ROOT USER ON SAME NODE.

check your /etc/ftpusers.This file containing the id which will be block from ftp.

Hi Yogesh,

Check the /etc/ftpd/ftpusers file.

Only root may have entry there so only root is allowed to do ftp on this server.

The listed user in ftpusers will not be allowed to do ftp.

Make sure that the user's shell "e.g. /usr/bin/csh" is listed in /etc/shells in the node.

Login as the user echo $SHELL >>/etc/shells

Done !
