Problem after installing Jetadmin : lpsched: Bogus request

Hi,

I installed jetadmin on 11i and created a new printer queue to a HP laser networked printer. The jetadmin test page printed, but when I issue an lp -d to the printer I get lpsched: Bogus request in the lpsched log file and nothing prints to the printer.

I doubt whether new queue you have created is bound to HP Laser printer

Hi,

Can you try by doing the below steps.

1) Remove /var/spool/lp/SCHEDLOCK
2) Remove /var/spool/lp/FIFO
3) > /var/spool/lp/outputq
4) Remove requests by rm /var/spool/lp/request/*/*
5) stop and start the spooler
