Increase the shmmax, maxssize and maxdsize on your system. You may not be running out of physical memory necessarily.

Check your swap space and file systems to make sure you have available memory and disks space.

Is this the product you are having issues with? http://193.69.114.9/downloads/sdk_nvc5_nse.pdf

live free or die
harry

hi,

something to do with your database with not enough memory.

though the following thread is on 10.20, you may still like to refer to it :

http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=142656

regards.

mmap,

the system is lacking in memory resource.
The memory and swap utilization should be high.

Bring that usage down and if possible add additional swap to the system.

check the usage of memory by the processes.
Disable the processes which are not used like the snmp.

Hi Ralf,

You are probably running out of memory / swap space. Increase the swap. Add additional secondary swap if necessary.

Hope this helps.

Regds
Generally out of swap space.

HP recommends swap space of 2x RAM although some DB applications seem to need 3xRAM to run well.

Best regards,

Kent M. Ostby
