in Hpux 11.0
execute:
ps -ef|grep stm

/etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig
option K (kill) or kill -9 process stm

ps -ef|grep stm
root 4080 1 0 11:29:28 ? 0:00 /usr/sbin/stm/uut/bin/sys/diagmond

/sbin/init.d/diagnostic stop

/etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig
option (E)enable monitoring

/sbin/init.d/diagnostic start

ps -ef|grep stm

/etc/opt/resmon/lbin/set_fixed -l

all monitoring in UP and TRUE
