Cannot use tab key when igniting server through Web Console

HI,

I am in the process of trying to ignite a N4000 through the secure Web Console and cannot use the TAB key in the Ignite Configuration Menu. Mt terminal is set to VT100 on the Secure Web Console. Can anyone help?

The problem is not with your webconsole itself, but with the environment you use to run the browser. MS Windows, for instance, uses the TAB for other things, resulting in your inability to use it in the console. But you could try to use the 'zoom' link to have the webconsole in a seperate window, in which the TAB key should work.

Try using CTRL-I . That should be the ASCII code for TAB.

Try using space bar instead tab key. You are hiving problem because of wrong term setting.

We had exactly the same problem here using Windows/IE.

We used Netscape from a Linux machine without any problems. Might be worth trying Netscape from Windows.

When we chased it up with HP we were told that Webconsoles don't officially support the use of the TAB key - useful choice by HP on hardware that won't support their own SAM/Ignite etc software ...

Term is set to vt100, other keys will
not move cursor. It's frustrating to
see what I need to do but can't do it.
