https://community.hpe.com/t5/operating-system-hp-ux/bios-serial-console-automatic-option/m-p/3279771#M180233 Hi,<BR /><BR />I am trying to figure out whay the "Automatic" option if for in the BIOS serial console setup.<BR /><BR />I thought it would mean that if the system detects a keyboard or a screen connected to it the POST messages would appear on the screen, and if not they would be redirected to the serial port.<BR /><BR />But with this option, it always sends the output to the screen.
