    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My share exist. Before i have cifs A.01.08 and a lot of other trouble (all resoved with cifs except this one). The share is a unique directory with about 10 thousand autocad files.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I've got the trouble with all my w2k clients who needs this share (but not with the other).</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I've got hundrerd pc under w2k sp4 (and lot of patches), ans two cifs shares on a hp ux11.11 serveur with cifs A.01.11.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I've got erro log in syslog or smb user log like this :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;[2004/05/19 15:52:04, 0] smbd/open.c:(1294)                                     &lt;BR /&gt;  open_directory: unable to stat name = DWG. Error was No such file or directory&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can anyone help me ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks</description>

      <description>Sounds like you have a share in your smb.conf file that does not exist on you hp-9000 server. Please check it, make corrections and restart the server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/init.d/samba stop&lt;BR /&gt;/sbin/init.d/samba start&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>Can you post your smb.conf file please.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Change your&lt;BR /&gt;log level = 2&lt;BR /&gt;in smb.conf then restart samba...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;That may give you some more information in /var/opt/samba/&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;BTW -  log file = /var/opt/samba/log.%m&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rgds...Geoff</description>
