Hello,

we run measureware and for the past two weeks scopeux has stopped running. The status.scope log reads:

**** /opt/perf/bin/scopeux : 05/19/04 01:03:23 ****
scopeux C.02.30 COLLECTOR BEGIN.

**** /opt/perf/bin/scopeux : 05/19/04 01:05:00 ****
Server collector startup completed, beginning data collection.

**** /opt/perf/bin/scopeux : 05/19/04 23:30:00 ****
Start of /var/opt/perf/datafiles/logproc file roll

**** /opt/perf/bin/scopeux : 05/19/04 23:30:00 ****
ERROR: Unable to read from logfile '/var/opt/perf/datafiles/logproc' - corrupted data. (PE221-24)

**** /opt/perf/bin/scopeux : 05/19/04 23:30:00 ****
COLLECTOR END. program terminated abnormally.

what commands can I use to trouble shoot?

Try this

1.# mwa stop all
Wait for all processes to terminate.

2.#ttd -k

3. Move the log files (/var/opt/perf/data/log*) into a different directory for later access or remove them.

4. Restart mwa to create the new logfile set
#mwa start all

Thankyou - after looking on the web I also retrieved this information form hp openview docs and also found out loads of other good info regarding measureware
