You can not.

If you wish to run 10.20 software, you need to cold install that OS first.

I would however unless you are the US Navy that you not use 10.20 in any way. Its been out of support for nearly a year and isn't anywhere near current.

SEP

Any of the newer 64-bit ONLY hardware absolutely can NOT run HP-UX 10.20.

If you have an older D or K class system then you can install 10.20 on those.

Yes, 10.20 will work on a c3000 or c3600 (see the following link: http://www.hp.com/workstations/risc/standard/operating/support_matrix/update.html ) BUT you MUST have ACE9912 for for the c3600 or ACE9906 or ACE9912 for the c3000.

I can't emphasize enough what a bad idea it is to install 10.20 these days. The only option yo u have on OS issues is this forum or paying beaucoup bucks for it.

If ACE is a requirement, you can do the OS first and then install it, but you'll face a difficult road ahead.

SEP

Hi sep,

Thanks for your reply.
I agree to your concerns but I have to run an application that was stop developed on 10.20 and it is running good on older systems.
Talking to the company that develop the software they are recommending to stay with 10.20 because of some changes made on hp-ux 11 and one of the main concern was ftp changes that can cause problems of communication with a photo plotter driven by this application.

Regards
